The first public jailbreak of iOS 13, checkra1n, has finally been released. The jailbreak is based on checkm8, a bootrom exploit that works on all iPhones and iPads from iPhone 4s to iPhone X. The jailbreak checkra1n tool requires you to have access to a PC. For now, the tool is only available for macOS.
A version for Windows and Linux of the Jailbreak tool is being developed, but its release date is unclear.
This is a semi-tied jailbreak, which means that you will need to have access to a PC to start the jailbreak process.
Checkra1n is only compatible with the Cydia package manager for now. Support for other package managers is currently in progress
